Your data

Privacy policy

Last updated: 07/06/2026

Beorn Technologies attaches great importance to protecting your personal data. This policy describes the processing carried out in connection with the use of this site, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data controller

The data controller is Beorn Technologies, whose head office is located in Toulouse. For any question regarding your data: [email protected].

2. Data collected

We only collect the data you voluntarily provide through the contact form:

  • First and last name
  • Business email address
  • Company and subject of the request
  • The content of your message

Subject to your consent, our audience-measurement tools also collect browsing data: pages viewed, date and time of visit, device and browser type, and technical connection data (including your IP address). This data is used for statistical purposes and to improve the site.

3. Purposes & legal basis

This data is processed in order to respond to your request and to manage the business relationship. The legal basis for processing is your consent as well as Beorn Technologies' legitimate interest in handling your enquiries. Audience measurement, for its part, relies exclusively on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

4. Recipients & processors

Your data is intended solely for authorized Beorn Technologies teams. It is neither transferred nor sold to third parties. We use technical processors, who access the data only within the strict scope of their assignments and under contractual oversight:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — site hosting, anti-bot protection of the form (Turnstile), and audience measurement (Cloudflare Web Analytics).
  • Resend, Inc. — delivery of the emails generated by the contact form.
  • Google (Google Ireland Ltd) — audience measurement via Google Analytics, activated only after your consent has been obtained.

5. Retention period

Data from the contact form is kept for 24 months from the last contact, then deleted or anonymized.

6. Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. You can exercise these rights at any time by writing to [email protected].

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).

7. Cookies & trackers

This site sets two categories of trackers:

  • Strictly necessary trackers — essential to the operation and security of the site, in particular the Cloudflare Turnstile anti-bot mechanism used on the contact form. They do not require your consent.
  • Audience-measurement trackers — Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics, used to analyze site traffic. They are only activated after your consent has been obtained via the banner shown on your first visit.

You can accept, decline or change your choices at any time by clicking "Manage cookies" at the bottom of every page. Declining is as easy as accepting and has no consequence on access to the site.

8. Transfers outside the European Union

Some of our processors (Google, Cloudflare, Resend) may process data outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. These transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards: the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, adherence to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Since audience measurement via Google Analytics is only activated with your explicit consent, you remain in control of these transfers.
